Frequently Asked Questions

We try to anticipate questions you might have about this business opportunity and our benefits, and provide the answers here. If you need additional information you can contact me through this site or you can also call me at (256)679-0853 with any questions you might have.

1.

WILL THE NEW HEALTH CARE LEGISLATION EFFECT MY ABILITY TO SELL THE HEALTH COVERAGE?

Yes and No. Ameriplan has reviewed the new legislation and we fill the criteria set forth in it. So in one respect, No it won't effect us as far as hurting our sales. On the other hand, Yes, it will effect us in that the new Legislation mandates that every American obtain Health Care Coverage or be fined by the Government. (I personally feel this is unconstitutional, but unfortunately it is reality for now.) I can only see where the opportunity in this business is greater than ever since we are able to provide Health Coverage for $39.95 per month, which is literally pennies on the dollar in comparison to other health plans.

2.

HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO MAKE MY FIRST YEAR?

It really just depends on how hard you are willing to work at this business. We have some folks that make $15,000 in their first month and a half, and others who start out more slowly. On average if you give your business two to three hours a day, six days a week, you can expect to make $35,000 to $50,000 your first year. Needless to say if you dedicate more time than that to it you can expect to make more. It really is up to you.

3.

DO I NEED TO QUIT MY JOB WHEN I START THIS BUSINESS?

No. This is your business, so you can make your own decision about this, but I would like to offer you some advice. I have sold insurance for two different, very well known insurance companies. If a person can make it in the insurance business for two years they generally have it made after that point. So why do 97% of the people who start selling insurance fail at it? A career in sales offers one of the best incomes you can imagine, but it takes time for you to build up to a point where you can count on a income sufficient to pay all your bills consistently. The reason most new representatives fail is simply because insurance companies require you to work for them full time. If you have a bad month, you don't make any income. Needless to say, all it takes is two bad months in a row and you're needing a job to make some grocery money.

If I had to pick the one thing that sets this opportunity apart from others and makes it so much easier to succeed at, it would be this one fact. You do not have to quit your job until you are making enough residually to live off of. With Ameriplan you will make level commissions for the life of the policies. For example on the Health plans you will make 30% up front, and every time payment is recieved you will recieve a 30% commission for the life of the business. We also have a great retention rate. So what this means is this, let's say you make $50,000 your first year. You have that $50,000 coming in the next year, and every year after that, before whatever business you write. This is why you can build up such a great income in this business.

So I would advise you to do this, keep your full time job. Spend two to three hours each day working on your business. At the end of the year, you can expect to have built up a residual income of $35,000 to $50,000. At this time you can quit your job and work full time at your business without having to worry because even if you had a month that you didn't make a single sale, you will have enough coming in residually each month to pay all your bills.

4.

DO I NEED AN INSURANCE LICENSE TO SELL THE BENEFITS?

No. Since these are discount benefits you are not required to be licensed to sell them.

5.

CAN I SELL THE BENEFITS OUTSIDE MY STATE OF RESIDENCE?

Yes. One of the advantages of not having to be licensed is that you call sell the benefits anywhere in the United States, with the exception of Vermont, Montana, and Alaska. We have no providers in these States.

6.

WHAT TOOLS WILL I RECIEVE TO HELP ME BUILD MY BUSINESS?

On the day that you decide to start we will set you up with five different web sites. These will be personalized for you. There will be two telling people about the business opportunity, and two explaining the benefits that you sell. There will be an additional one which has a video telling about Ameriplan and then gives the watcher the choice of saving money or making money.

Each of these web sites has a link allowing a person to go ahead and sign up if they wish. If they do you have a check coming to you the next morning whether you sent them there or not.

We do also provide training both online and over the telephone. We have conference calls twice a week. After the training portion of the call you are able to ask any questions you might have.

If you do most of your business over the telephone we provide you with phone scripts to help you stay on track as you explain the business or benefits over the phone.

There are other tools we set you up with as well but it really would take more space than I have here to tell you about all them.

7.

HOW WELL DO THE BENEFITS WORK?

They work really well. I can say that everytime I have used them personally I have been very pleased with them. There are benefits that I have not used yet (such as the hospitalization,) and to tell the truth, I don't have a particular desire to get the chance. But I have talked with folks who have used them and they have been surprised at just how well these benefits worked.

We had a couple people actually sent us a copy of the documentation sent to them by the hospital, showing there bill of over $45,000 reduced to $0. And yes, you are reading that right. Click here to view the documentation.

8.

WHAT IF THERE ARE NO DOCTORS IN MY AREA AS PROVIDERS?

This is actually the case in my own home town. I haven't found it to be too great of a hinderance for two reasons.

#1 The biggest thing that really runs up the bill at doctor offices is when you have to get lab work done. I have found that although the doctors in my area are not providers the labs that they use are. I just sell it in my area as a plan for Hospitalization that comes with a discount plan for labs and prescription. At less than $40 per month, I have had very happy customers.

#2 This is a business that you are able to sell to people all over America. Even if there are no providers in your area you will be talking to others that have many in their own.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO START?

The actual cost of getting into business is $20 per year. As with most insurance companies that I've ever worked with we do require you to purchase one of our platinum benefits packages. You will want to do this anyway. I don't think I ever go an entire week that somebody doesn't ask me "do you use these benefits?"

The price of these are $50 for our Platinum Plus, $75 for our Total Platinum Plus, and $150 for the Platinum Freedom Pass.  All of these have the ID Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance with a $75 sign and drive, National Child ID, Family Legal Plan, Financial Services, and Savings on your Automotive needs, Recreation, Dining, and Shopping.

The difference is that the Platinum Plus has added to that the Dental, Vision, Chiropractic, and Prescription Plan.

The Total Platinum Plus has everything the Platinum Plus does with the Hospitalization and Health Discount Plan for Doctor Visits Added.

The Platinum Freedom Pass has everything the Total Platinum Plus has with some great additions. This plan has the Hospitalization, Free 24 hr Access to the Doctor, Dental, Vision, Chiropractic, Prescription, ID Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance with a $75 sign and drive, National Child ID, Family Legal Plan, Financial Services, and Savings on your Automotive needs, Recreation, Dining, and Shopping. The Platinum Freedom Pass also provides savings on Cruises, Car Rentals, Condos and Resorts, Hotels, Movies, Home and Garden, Golf, and more. You can also print out coupons before you go grocery shopping and save alot on goceries. If you go to a store where you have a rewards card you can download the coupons digitally to your account and then after they ring you up and scan your card it will automatically change the prices to the discounted rate so you don't have to carry the coupons around with you.

One other difference between the three benefits packages for an IBO is that you make a 20% residual income on everything you sell with the $50 Platinum Plus. With the $75 Total Platinum Plus you make a residual income of 30% on everything you sell.  If you decide to get the $150 Platinum Freedom Pass you make a whopping 40% residual income every month on everything you sell.

The first month commissions are double so the difference is that, say you sell someone the Platinum Freedom Pass. I use this one because it is my experience that it is the easiest to sell and I like it the best. You would make $120 up front, then starting the second month you would be sent $60 per each one of these that you have sold, for the life of the policy. Let me tell you, I have sold insurace with different companies in the past. There isn't anybody that has a pay package anything like this.

But I digress. I was making comparisons. $120 first month and $60 everymonth after. If you have the Platinum Plus for $50 you make 20%. Again you do get double first month so you would make $60 first month and then $30 every month after. With the $75 Total Platinum Plus you would bring in $90 the first month and then $45 every month after. Even the lowest level is better than anything I've ever seen but I like the 40% better.

Hey, If you have any more questions that are not answered here please feel free to call me at (256)679-0853. This is my cell phone number and I can be reached at it any time.

I would like to say before you go though that I know what it is like to wonder if something will really work for you. I've tried several times, different things from home to make extra money. I've even tried stuffing envelopes. Until Ameriplan I have not found anything that lives up to it's promises.

These are benefits that I can feel good about selling. I have used them myself and they work. I have talked with others who have used them and who were very pleased, even pleasantly surprised at how well they work. I can honestly say that these are benefits that I not only sell to people that I don't know, but would not hesitate to recommend to my own family and friends.

Likewise I've tried the business side of Ameriplan and have found that they live up to their promises. I have never sold a single piece of business that I did not get paid on immediately. They send the checks out the very next morning and I get them within five days in the mail.

This is not a system that you can just sit around and do nothing and expect to make anything. It does require some work. I can honestly say though that it really isn't hard at all.

I am a truck driver. I got into Ameriplan because I was looking for a way to get out of trucking so I could be around to see my daughter grow up. Driving a truck is not the ideal job to have if you are trying to build a business on the side. In spite of that I am making money and my residual income is growing each month.

My point is this, I haven't put the two to three hours into this everyday like I should have. I can't honestly say that I have worked hard building my business up. Yet, my business is growing even with the small amount of effort I do put into it. If I can do it while driving a truck around the country, anybody can.
